Job Posting for Psychologists and Social Workers

Halifax Psychologist is expanding and we are now recruiting Psychologists (Registered or Candidate Register) and Social Workers 
who wish to join our new private practice Green Leaf Psychological Services, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Green Leaf Psychological is located at 1562 Dresden Row in the heart of Halifax. We receive many referrals from the areas of Halifax, Bedford, and Dartmouth. Our neighbours include dentists, physicians, yoga studios, pharmacies and many other professional services. Our newly renovated, fully furnished offices are very modern, spacious, bright, and have a great view of the city.

At present, we often have more requests for service than we can handle and are able to refer new therapy and assessment clients to the successful candidates - helping you build your own caseload. We offer flexible hours, peer consultations, a friendly and supportive workplace, and estimated annual earnings of $110,000 - $150,000.

Qualifications:

For Psychologists:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Registered or Candidate Register with The Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (or eligible to be registered)
  • Experience providing treatment and intervention services for adults 

For Social Workers:
  • MSW degree or greater
  • Fully registered with The Nova Scotia College of Social Workers for private practice
  • Experience providing treatment and intervention services for adults 

Preferences:

In addition to the above qualifications, preference may be given to those who:

  • Are interested in working with couples
  • Have experience providing psycho-educational assessments and are comfortable testing for Learning Disorders and ADHD
